EA cerrará el servicio online de muchos de sus títulos

Ya es un hecho. A partir del próximo 11 de enero EA cerrará muchos de sus servidores de juegos online. Aunque en su mayoría se trata de juegos deportivos, también se quedarán sin servicio algunos títulos como The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II y su expansión para Xbox 360 el día 11 de enero y Los Sims Carnival, cuyos servires serán dados de baja el día  16 de este mes.

 

A pesar de que la lista de títulos puede parecer un poco larga, se estima que los jugadores afectados por esta medida no debiesen sobrepasar el 1%. Cabe señalar que no es la primera vez que EA realiza un cierre de servidores de esta naturaleza. El listado de cierre a continuación:
